This December, Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach is thrilled to announce the return of its beloved Puppy Yoga sessions on “Paws for Purpose” event, in partnership with the Bali Animal Welfare Association (BAWA). Every Friday throughout December 2024, guests and locals alike can participate in these heartwarming, stress-relieving, and mood-boosting sessions that offer more than just a great stretch. On the third week of December, the vibrant resort will also host the spay and neuter program, focusing on the stray dogs and cats in the neighbourhood.
Building on the success of the first event this May, the second Paws for Purpose will once again combine the benefits of yoga with the unparalleled joy of playing with puppies on Puppy Yoga. These sessions are designed to enhance participants’ mental health and well-being by creating a unique connection between humans and puppies, fostering a deep sense of calm and happiness. The presence of these adorable furry companions not only makes the yoga experience paw-fectly balanced but also provides an uplifting environment that helps reduce stress and boost mood.
In addition to the Puppy Yoga, the hotel will host a Spay & Neuter event during the third week of December. This initiative aims to address the growing population of stray animals in Bali, especially in Seminyak neighbourhood, by providing free spay and neuter services, contributing to a sustainable and compassionate solution for the longer run.
What sets this event apart is its charitable mission. All profits generated from the Puppy yoga sessions will be donated directly to BAWA, supporting their ongoing efforts to protect and care for animals in Bali. BAWA’s work is essential in providing medical care, shelter, and education to improve the lives of animals across the island.
“We are excited to bring back Paws for Purpose this December and continue our close collaboration with BAWA. These sessions not only offer a unique way to reflect on our spirit for wellness activations but also give back to the community by supporting a cause that’s close to our hearts,” said Andreas Bergel, General Manager at Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach and Area General Manager of IHG Indonesia.
Mark your calendars and join them every Friday at 5PM in December 2024 for an unforgettable experience. Whether you are a seasoned yogi or a beginner, Puppy yoga promises a joyful memory, where you can unwind, connect with adorable pups, and contribute to a meaningful cause.
