This marks another big step in the resorts sustainability journey and is a significant milestone for Bali and Indonesia as the first locations to deploy the Beach Cleaning Robot. Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali are leading the way in eco-friendly beach cleaning with the Hyatt Bebot, an electrically powered, remotely operated robot. Hyatt Bebot’s primary focus is to efficiently remove plastics and debris from the beach while safeguarding the local flora and fauna.
Hyatt Bebot operates with precision, leaving behind cleaner shores without disrupting the delicate beach ecosystem. It is an eco-conscious marvel, emitting zero emissions due to its 100% electric design. The official unveiling of Hyatt Bebot is set for Tuesday, 31st October 2023, where media and the local community will witness its capabilities first-hand. Hervé Mazella, the resorts’ managing director, expressed that, “With Hyatt Bebot, we’re enhancing our sustainability efforts in beach cleaning, offering our guests and community pristine shores while championing environmental preservation.”
In line with Hyatt commitment to innovation and caring hospitality, this technology will be deployed at Hyatt Regency Bali, Andaz Bali and Grand Hyatt Bali. Harnessing the power of technology, Hyatt Bebot efficiently cleans, preserving their natural beauty and contributing to our commitment to a greener future.
