Sunset Town in Phu Quoc is a charming coastal area known for its breathtaking views of the sun setting over the ocean. With its relaxed atmosphere and picturesque surroundings, it is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty. Whether you’re strolling along the beach or savouring a meal at one of the local restaurants, Sunset Town offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The town has recently launched a series of impressive tourism products, such as the first La Festa Phu Quoc Curio Collection by Hilton, Kiss Bridge, and Vui-fest Bazaar creative night market; all promising to bring a new journey of discovery to Pearl Island.
Kiss Bridge for sunset
After 2 years of design and 3 years of construction at Sunset Town, Kiss Bridge not only adds a unique tourism product to Phu Quoc but also promises to create a reputation to make Phu Quoc’s name famous on Vietnamese and international tourism rankings.
Since the design was still on paper, the bridge has been compared by Italian television as a cultural interference between Vietnam and Italy. Not only because this work was designed by architect Marco Casamonti – Italian Design Ambassador to Vietnam, but also because the bridge contains many cultural codes of the two countries. The “father” of the bridge, Mr. Marco Casamonti once shared that the design inspiration of the Kissing Bridge comes from the painting The Creation of Adam by the Italian artist – Michelangelo and the bridge is woven by a flock of birds in the Tale of The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl of Asian culture.
It’s a beautiful bridge that stands over the sea, resembling a sculptural masterpiece. The bridge has two 400m long branches stretching out to sea like two soft silk strips. The two branches of the bridge are only about 30 centimetres apart, and this small gap is the “spot” where the sun sets beautifully. In addition to its unique architecture, this stunning bridge carries a message about love and the connection between people and the universe.
Multimedia show ‘Kiss of the Sea’
With a water screen size of nearly 1,000 m2 and the first multimedia stage with three-arch technology, the show brought a unique image to Vietnam for the first time. During the nearly 25-minute performance, tourists unconsciously lean over to avoid meteorites as the character moves on a train travelling between galaxies or exploring the aquatic stage. Audiences’ emotions were led from relaxation by a beautiful beach to climaxing with a terrible clash between darkness and light and fire and water.
Vui-fest Bazaar
This night market promises to become the busiest entertainment and festival venue in Phu Quoc. In particular, Vui-fest Bazaar is also an environmentally friendly market by saying “no” to plastic bags and plastic straws. The market brings together 40 stalls, including regional cuisine stalls, fashion products and creative gifts or handicrafts.
La Festa Phu Quoc Curio Collection by Hilton
La Festa Phu Quoc is a new hotel created from the handshake of Sun Group and Hilton- the “giant” in the hotel industry. This is the first hotel in Vietnam to carry the Curio Collection by Hilton brand, a luxury and “curious” brand of the Hilton hotel group, famous for more than 100 hotels and resorts worldwide, known for its completely different and unique experience for visitors.
Centrally located, and designed to be consistent with the overall design of Sunset Town, La Festa Phu Quoc brings the full vibe of the Italian Amalfi coastal town and the romantic colours of love. The idea that inspired the creation of La Festa is also very interesting, about the passionate love of an artist couple. In another view, the hotel is inspired by the story of ceramic merchants, expressed through typical colours and materials such as pink or blue terracotta domes, and mosaic tile details. In the 13 hotel room categories, Vietnam’s indigenous culture is also harmoniously and delicately combined through ceramic cups, bags and straw hats created by Vietnamese artisans.
